Irecently bought a 2005 147 1.6 which cambelt was changed 15K (kilometers) ago, but that was 3 years ago. You read lots of horror stories that the belt snaps after 3 years, so I took no risk and changed cambelt and water pump. Myknowledge of the JTS is pretty much zero but I think the interval for a timing belt change is every 32,000 miles or 3 years, you might want to consider changing the water pump too.
