updateall drivers, windows, nvidia. delete docs files and reinstall the game. reset the pc with clean drive (twice) memtest and windows diagnostics (no errors found) Underclock the gpu. Change memory page file. other things I might have forgotten after 1 year of trying to solve this. Theage of empires 2 DE got stuck again on loading screen. So i reset all the hotkeys and controls and now the game works fine on xbox series x. In conclusion: the game works fine now after resetting the control keys (hotkeys), on pc i use extra mouse buttons for idle village and goto town center, the extra mouse buttons are not supported
