Just tested it with multiplayer. It works without any issues because unlike later CoD titles (like MW2, Black Ops, Ghosts etc.) World At War (like CoD 1, CoD 2 & CoD 4) has no Steam Integration which means that these games run on their own game servers and that also explains why these games don't use Valves Anti-Cheat instead rely on PunkBuster.
