Also I disagree that becoming a king in bannerlord is easier then warband, Ive played through warband and there I actualy have a kingdom, with actual lords. It was rough gettin started because I didnt have alot of troops and I was attacked 20/4/7 by my neighbors but I managed because I could actually get people on my side.
Place your Shield wall about 1/4 of the way up and place your archers at the top overlooking the ground below, this gives them a range advantage and makes it easier for them to shoot over the enemy's shield wall and hit their shock troops while making it harder for their archers to penetrate your shield wall.
Leave the AI and attack speed, but lower damage by 1. You have to kick him before you're allowed to swing at him. 1 kick gives you unlimited swings, and try to make the first one the guaranteed swing I mentioned before.
